Crusade 4 Truth

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (AD 1929-1968) was a great man whom I highly respect.  As the Protestant Martin Luther (AD 1483-1546), the “Father of the Reformation”, from whom Dr. King’s name is derived, he lived his life to seek God’s Truth, proclaim it, and live God’s will for his life.  In his last speech before his death, Dr. King said,

“I just want to do God’s will. And He’s allowed me to go up to the mountain. And I’ve looked over. And I’ve seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land. So I’m happy, tonight. I’m not worried about anything. I’m not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.”

It has been said that the two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you discover WHY you are born.

Inspired by great men as Martin Luther, Dr. Martin Luther King, NYT Bestselling Author, Inc. Magazine Top 20 Leadership Expert Orrin Woodward, and, ultimately, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I have been blessed with a dream.  Hopefully, the reader will forgive me for borrowing some of Dr. King’s words when I say that,

“I have a dream, a dream of an America that is free again.  Free of debt, free of bondage, free of sin and full of truth, God’s Truth.”

In order to do that I believe that God has called me to be an inspiring leader giving people vision for their life by leading them to The Truth (Christ) and inspiring them to pursue excellence, i.e., Christ-likeness.

Recently, Orrin suggested to read Simon Sinek’s excellent book START WITH WHY.  Going through this book again reminded me of this important lesson to “start with why” and realize again what a great example Orrin Woodward is because, as Sinek states, “When you compete against everyone else, no one wants to help you.  But when you compete against yourself, everyone wants to help you.”

Early on, after meeting Orrin and LIFE CEO Chris Brady, I have heard both repeatedly proclaim the LIFE Vision of building a community of 1 Million people and leading them to The Truth…

If you have ever tried to change something about yourself and realize how hard it is, you will agree that we, like Orrin, need not attempt to change others, but, instead need “only” work hard on turning ourselves into the best version of ourselves possible.  That is true leadership and I’m grateful to have living examples like Orrin and Chris who show me what is possible when you pursue such excellence.

If this has moved you, I urge you to START WITH WHY!!  What is YOUR purpose?  Why are you here?  Why did God, the CREATOR of the entire universe, make YOU?  You are not a cosmic accident, not coincidence, you are here for a reason!!  Why?  Join me in the “Crusade 4 Truth”…

2016 State Champion Calvin Spiewak

It’s amazing what happens when you change the way you think.

On March 12 this year, my oldest son Calvin won the Title of State Champion for the 50 yard Backstroke in the 10 and under age group at the Michigan State Swimming Championships.  He swam his personal best time of 31.82 sec.

Just a few weeks before I was reading in Orrin Woodward‘s Best-Selling book RESOLVED about former UCLA Basketball Coach John Wooden and his definition of success.  While most people would probably define “success” as winning an event, John Wooden, who is the most winningest coach in NCAA Div. 1 Basketball history (winning 10 NCAA Div.1 Championships in 12 years, 8 of which in a row), defines winning basically as “doing your personal BEST”.  My son definitely had an issue with attitude, he HATES losing!!!  No idea where he got that from??  Calvin focused so much  comparing himself with other swimmers, he totally forgot to do what John Wooden suggests and that is only focus on the ONE thing you have control over and that is DO YOUR PERSONAL BEST.

I still remember the day when Calvin and I drove home from a swim meet where he had lost to competitors  in certain events and he was very upset.  Being upset about a loss is not a bad thing but if your outbreaks of anger affect other people, then that’s not ok.  Of course, I’m not blaming him because guess who he learned that from??  The apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree…  Fortunately, I had just read that chapter in Orrin’s book and we started talking about winning, losing, and doing your best.  I told Calvin how proud Lindsey & I were of him and that we believe God has a bright future for him and I encouraged him to stop spending time thinking about other swimmers and start focusing on the one thing he has control of, DOING THE BEST HE CAN.

Looking back, I am very proud of my son because rather than responding, “yeah, yeah, dad, what do you know about swimming…”, after all, at 10 years old (now 11) he is already way faster then I ever was, he started taking these suggestions to heart.  At swimming events the following weeks he seemed way more focused on himself, visualizing an upcoming race, and getting himself fired up.

A few weeks thereafter, Calvin did really well at the State Championship Meet, not only winning the State Title in the 50 Back but also coming in 2nd for the 50 Free with a PERSONAL BEST individual time of 28.12 secs.  WOW, that’s fast!!!

My family and I are so grateful for the difference that LIFE Leadership has made and is making in our lives.  Having mentors and examples like Orrin & Laurie Woodward, Chris & Terri Brady, and Bill & Keisha Lewis is priceless and truly a blessing.

Congrats again, Calvin, you are an amazing son and I am very blessed to be your father!!!

Al & Becki Matthews: DEBT FREE!!!

On February 28, 2016, Al & Becki Matthews paid off the remaining balance of their house mortgage making them COMPLETELY debt free, having escaped the Financial Matrix.  Below is their testimony and they give 100% credit to the financial wisdom they learned from the Financial Fitness Program.  Really proud of Al & Becki because they APPLIED what they learned and achieved amazing results!!!

After utilizing the finance information and getting some real truth about how things work with the banks and their interest and easy loans that they are so eager to give to people, we had a rude awakening. We started to figure how much we were in debt and what the real cost in the end would be and it made us both sick. No one can get what they put into a house when they sell it later as long as they obtain it with a bank. We wrote down our goals, made several lists of what was making money and what wasn’t and started to focus on the end goal and sell everything not needed, paid off any debt we had and was left with only the house debt. On February 18th we made our last payment to Wells Fargo.
We went from 195,000.00 in debt with cards, farm equipment payments and house payments to 0. The finance pack helped us get things straight and the Life business helped us to communicate so that we were able to be on board together.
The biggest things we have learned is write down your ideas, talk about it, think about it wait and ask for the lord to help us do the right thing. It is amazing how things come together when principals and tools that are taught in Life are utilized. The most important tool we used was, set your end goal, then little goals, make the rewards simple and no matter what, Delay you gratification. In the end it is so worth it. Don’t play if you have to pay interest. If you think it is owed to you, think carefully. Are you debt free first.
Next is financially free with a residual income to get Al home from his job, so we can continue to help others everywhere.

Why do people lie?  Before I go into discussing this, let me tell you that I am far from perfect and have lied many times in my life.  Big lies, small lies, and everything in between, I have plenty of experience.  However, for the last 13 some years, I have come to the understanding that lying is definitely wrong and it hurts many people and, therefore, have tried my best to stay away from engaging in this activity.

Webster’s defines a “lie” as 1. A FALSE STATEMENT WITH THE DELIBERATE INTENT TO DECEIVE, A FALSEHOOD. 2. SOMETHING INTENDED OR SERVING TO CONVEY A FALSE IMPRESSION; IMPOSTURE…

Why do people lie?  We would all have to agree that deep down we all know that lying is wrong.  Amazingly, even people that are habitual liars and reason to themselves and others that it’s ok for THEMSELVES to lie, would be upset if SOMEONE ELSE made false promises to them or lied to them in any way.

Why do people lie?  Since we all know deep down lying is wrong, there is always a reason why people lie.  We can probably agree that with very few exceptions people lie because they hope to derive some kind of benefit from not telling the truth but fabricating a lie, instead.  Many years ago I would show police officers my German driver’s license when i got pulled over (usually for going to fast…, I AM from Germany, after all), pretending that I did not have an American license, hoping that, with some luck, the officer would not know what to do with my German license and let me off with a warning.  Obviously, I felt at that time in my life, that it would be ok for me to lie in order to avoid a speeding ticket.  Sometimes it worked but even though I would be relieved for not getting a ticket, I always felt bad about what I had done and knew it was wrong.

14 years ago I met Orrin Woodward and Chris Brady through my friend Bill Lewis.  Ever since I met them their example has inspired me to do what is RIGHT.  Now, I am not claiming that Orrin and Chris are perfect, however, in my 46 years in this world I have met thousands of people from all walks of life and Orrin and Chris’ character and integrity has been second to none.  Being around these gentlemen in many situation, both in public and in private, their willingness to do what is right, even if it costs them, has been AMAZING, for lack of a better word.  On November 11, 2011, Orrin and Chris (together with Rob Hallstrand, Bill Lewis, Tim Marks, George Guzzardo, Claude Hamilton, and Dan Hawkins) founded and launched the LIFE Leadership company.  This happened after almost 2 decades of Orrin and Chris working on developing the BEST business concept the world has ever seen.  The continuous improvement is still ongoing.  Orrin is a genius and I truly believe that he is going to be the next Sam Walton.  Chris Brady recently announced that, after Orrin approached him with this idea, he would step back from his responsibilities of working in the field of LIFE Leadership to find and develop leaders of compensated communities, and become the CEO of LIFE Leadership.  Wow, here is a man true to his calling and I believe when the history books are written, Chris will be the Steve Jobs of LIFE Leadership.  Call me crazy but we will talk again in 50 years.

Now, what do Orrin, Chris, and LIFE Leadership have to do with lies?  Well, as amazing and truly life changing my personal journey with Orrin and Chris has been, as genius and innovative as the LIFE Leadership concept is, you would think that everybody should and would speak with high regards about Orrin Woodward, Chris Brady, and LIFE Leadership.  However, the sad truth is that there is a handful of individuals that have made it their life-purpose to spread as many lies about Orrin, Chris, and LIFE as possible and deceive as many people as possible about the FACTS of LIFE (pun intended), Orrin, and Chris and thereby depriving them from the life changing benefits that LIFE offers.  How do I know?  I see it all the time.  After sharing some ideas about LIFE with a friend, said friend would oftentimes surf the web to “CHECK IT OUT” and, invariably find websites authored by these certain individuals proclaiming to be in pursuit of TRUTH, supposedly “educating” the public about what they call the “LIFE Leadership Scam” or “Orrin Woodward’s PYRAMID SCAM” or many other false statements.
SIDEBAR… While we are on this subject of “pyramid”, how can LIFE Founder Tim Marks who is UNDERNEATH his sponsor, LIFE Founder Bill Lewis, in the structure of the LIFE Community, make significantly more money for 14 years in a row than Bill?? Guess who made more money when I was an engineer, me or my boss? Corporate America IS a pyramid. “LIFE is a pyramid”, just another popular lie. END SIDEBAR…

Through an intricate process of manipulating website rankings in google and other search engines, these website always end up towards the top of the list of popular searches about Orrin Woodward, Chris Brady, and LIFE Leadership.  Unsuspecting people in search of some facts about LIFE would invariably navigate to these websites and read and, more importantly, often believe in all the lies propagated on the websites.

Now, if you happen to be an individual in search of truth about Orrin, Chris, or LIFE Leadership that has visited these websites or is planning to hear “the other side”, please answer this one question for me:  WHY DO THE AUTHORS OF THESE WEBSITES NEVER PUT THEIR NAME ON THEIR WORK BUT ALWAYS CHOSE TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS???  People that share FACTS about Orrin, Chris, and LIFE Leadership always let you know who they are so, if you really want to, you can track them down and personally confront them.  Who are you going to believe?

Lynnette works at the same company that I was working at when I met Orrin and Chris and I have personally witnessed her life transform.  Her significant improvement in her self confidence alone is something to write home about.

Why do people lie about LIFE Leadership?  Most the time, what I have found, people that lie about Orrin, Chris, and LIFE, are individuals that were involved in our company before and they did not achieve their goals and, of course, when you fail at something, it CAN’T POSSIBLY be YOUR fault.  Most certainly, somebody ELSE is to blame for your lack of results and Orrin, Chris and LIFE Leadership are the favorite targets. My friend and business partner John Mossner pointed out in one of the first comments that there are also entities that envy Orrin & Chris’ success with LIFE Leadership and/or are diametrically opposed to the purpose of LIFE, leading people to truth. Such entities are engaging and paying some of the above mentioned individuals to spread lies about Orrin, Chris, and LIFE. Incredible but true.

Personally, I feel so embarrassed for these individuals because an in depth study of the FACTS always reveals their lies.  The sad thing for these individuals is that the person they are hurting the most is themselves.

Don’t be one of them.  Get the facts.  Do what is right and tell the truth!!

BETRAYED …(part 3)

Having lived in Germany for most of my life, I have a very unique perspective on communism because I have seen the results of 45 years of a communistic regime in East Germany.  After WWII, the Russian occupied area of Germany became known as East Germany.  A few years later, the powers at be decided to build a wall right through the middle of Berlin and heavy border fortifications along the border to West Germany.  Interestingly, these fortifications were not built to keep West Germany and its allies out of East Germany but to keep the East German people IN!!!  Ever heard of the IRON CURTAIN?  For all the people out there that think communism (and of course ANY form of socialism, which is, according to Karl Marx, the founder of communism, just a mile stone on the road to communism) is such a great idea, ask yourself, why thousands of people risked their lives and many died while trying to escape the communist regime but NOBODY ever tried to flee the other direction.  According to statistics, between 1961 and 1988, 961 people lost their life while attempting to flee East Germany!!!  Does that give you any clue?  All those people that Lenin calls “the useful idiots” who support all these great sounding ideas never had the “benefit” to live under a communistic regime for any length of time.  My dad was born in East Prussia, which was east of Poland before WWII but belonged to Germany.  It is now Lithuania.  With the Russian advance west towards the end of the war my dad fled with my grand mother across the frozen Baltic Sea and survived besides by Russian war planes firing machine guns at them.  (Sure glad he survived…).  Before the borders closed he left Dresden and ended up in Hamburg where he met my mom.

By the way, for a long time I thought that National Socialism (remember Hitler?) was on the opposite side of the political spectrum as Communism.  However, that is false, the truth is that the political spectrum looks like this:

Communism (100% Government) <———-+———-> Anarchy (0% Government)

Any form of socialism (including Hitler’s National Socialism) is at the extreme left of the spectrum.  America’s Founding Fathers were clearly to the right of the center because, as one can derive from such documents as the U.S. Constitution, The Declaration of Independence, and the Federalist Papers, they were designing a very LIMITED government.  In fact I remember a quote from Thomas Jefferson out of Oliver DeMille’s book, “1913” (a fantastic book and must read for every freedom-loving American) that states,

“…To this I am opposed; because when all government…in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the centre of all power, it will render powerless the checks of one government on another, and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated.” -Thomas Jefferson

Can anybody disagree that our Federal Government is getting bigger and bigger controlling and regulating more and more aspects of our lives?  How many laws are out there that restrict YOUR freedom?  Two or maybe three?  Or maybe more like 30,000??  Anybody know them all?  What does the Preamble of the U.S. Constitution say again,

“WE THE PEOPLE of the United States of America, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.”

Come on, AMERICANS, PLEASE start thinking for yourself again rather than letting the national news media tell you what to think!!!  Let’s see, “…secure the Blessings of Liberty…”, do all these 30,000 some laws increase our liberty or take it away?  I would say that most these laws that we have are UNCONSTITUTIONAL because they don’t promote liberty (what the Founding Fathers clearly intended) but increasing degrees of slavery.

Now, on the other hand, what is socialism?  Curtis Bowers lays it out very clearly in the movie, he says that socialism can be best described by two words, BIG GOVERNMENT.

Just one example, the communists want to and, basically, already have taken over our public school system.  Don’t believe it?  Just watch the movie.  Now why would they want to do this?  Perhaps this quote will clue us in,

“Give me 4 years to teach the children, and the seed I have sown will never be uprooted.” -Vladimir Lenin

In Wisconsin some schools have now adopted the PLEDGE TO THE WORLD,

I PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE WORLD,

TO CARE FOR EARTH, SEA, AND AIR

TO HONOR EVERY LIVING THING,

WITH PEACE AND JUSTICE EVERYWHERE.

Let’s teach our kids, “Forget America, World Government is where it’s at!!!”  That will be the end of the “Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave”.  In 1993, I came to America because it was the “Land of Opportunity”.  Having lived here now for almost 20 years, I have really started to like the freedoms I have in this country and I really would like my kids and future generations to have the same freedom and opportunity that I, and do I dare say most Americans, enjoy but perhaps keep for granted.  It’s up to us  to pass the torch of freedom on to future generations and it is not going to be easy.  It starts with average Americans like you and I educating themselves as to where we came from, where we are now, and where we are headed.  Because only when we can identify the course, can we possibly have any hope at altering it.

AMERICANS, I AM COUNTING ON YOU (Yes, that means you, who is reading this right now).  If our ship continues to sink I know where we are gonna be in 20-30 years, I have seen the results of communism first hand in Eastern Germany, where, e.g., the standard government issue car that made up 95% of the car population was called a Trabant, a noisy 2-cycle engine car with 17HP that reached a max speed of maybe 50mph.  Yet, if you lived in Eastern Germany and wanted to buy this wonder of communistic technology you had to get on a wait list and wait 15years (not a typo…) before you got yours.  Excited about communism, yet?  As Bob McEwen once said, it was so great that they had to build a wall around it so that everybody would stick around to enjoy the benefits.

Germany today is another good indicator of where we are headed if nothing is done to prevent this.  My dad told me that Germany has just recently deactivated the last nuclear power plant.  Why?  Because the environmentalist movement (that is controlled by the communists in Germany and the U.S.) that started in the late 70s has become so strong that they influenced the German public with fear of nuclear energy, the cheapest way to generate energy currently.  The communist controlled environmental movement has a head start in Germany of about a decade (my guess) compared to America.  Curtis Bower shows how it is using the same scare tactics now here in the U.S. (and around the world) with the disproven farce called “GLOBAL WARMING”.  But again, even though it has been proven to be a farce, our national media do their part to further the communistic agenda by not reporting such relevant information to the general public, which, as a result, still thinks that global warming is a real concern.  Just ask your neighbor he will gladly pass on all the programming he has received from the news.

Please, everybody, here are some action items to do in the next 24 hours:

1) have people that are on the fence about how to vote watch the AGENDA movie or the trailer (see links above)

2) Vote tomorrow, and don’t vote for another 4 years of America being pulled further towards communism at lightening speed.

3) Whatever the outcome of the election tomorrow, do something to do your part to preserve the freedom in America that our Founders intended.  Start with buying a copy of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.  The American Heritage Foundation Bookstore is a great place to start, you can buy 10 copies for $10 or 50 copies for $25.  Click here.  No, I am not making any money when you purchase some of these and pass them out.

4) Watch 15min less TV per day and invest in your education by following Orrin Woodward’s Blog and on Twitter.

We can turn this trend around when we all work together!!

Recently I was lead to an amazing documentary movie called “AGENDA” by Curtis Bowers, a State Representative from Idaho.  He has done his homework, this is not just another conspiracy theory, the documentation is public for anybody to find that looks for it.  Of course, you will not read about it in the newspaper, let alone see it on national television… SURPRISE!!!  Watching this movie impacted me so much that I purchased 100 additional copies to pass out before the election, November 6.  There is a good chance that I will not be able to pass them all out by myself, so I am looking for some help.  The premise of the movie is that communism is NOT dead as many people assume who argue, “The Soviet Union is gone, therefore communism is dead, right?”  WRONG!!  Instead, communism is alive and well and, as documented in the movie, coming very close to successfully destroying America from within.  In fact, the movie clearly documents the connections between current U.S. President Barack Obama, The Communist Party USA, and Karl Marx.  As Curtis Bower states in the movie,

“They [the communists] have been so successful with their agenda.. they put ONE OF THEIR OWN into the White House!!” (emphasis mine)

Based on some plans that were developed in the 1930s by the NEO-Marxist Antonio Gramsci, here are some agenda items that have been goals of communists in America for a long time and are coming close to being completed.  The partial list below was derived from the book, “THE NAKED COMMUNIST”, by W. Cleon Skousen, a former FBI Agent who is known to the LIFE community as the mentor of Oliver DeMille.  According to a talk DeMille gave in front of the LIFE community, Skousen was one of the 6 students that was invited up to the stage by the keynote speaker at his university graduation because out of the entire graduating class of a large number of students, they were the only 6 that responded to the keynote speaker’s question “How many of you are going to change this world?” with “I WILL!!!”

WOW!!! Can anybody disagree that this is exactly what is going on in America today?  How in the world is this possible???  Communism, that was totally defeated by America during the cold war is now destroying America from within and most Americans are absolutely CLUELESS that this is going on?  Again, HOW???  Well, consider this,

Could it be that WE have been the “USEFUL IDIOTS” all along?  It appears so, because, you see, the communist are very good at disguising themselves, they don’t come to us with things they call “communistic”, no they call them “PROGRESSIVE”:

Hmm, “progressive” sounds so good, doesn’t it?  After all, who could possibly be against “PROGRESS”, right??  Well, wait a minute, perhaps we should first consider where we are progressing to…

As indicated above, Curtis Bowers draws some highly impact-ful conclusions about Barack Obama, the current President of the U.S.  Bowers shows that Obama is a result of the communistic agenda.  Now, just so everybody knows, I have nothing against people of different skin color.  My sister is married to a black gentleman and they have 2 children and, regardless of their skin color, I love my niece and nephew very much.  Also, very good friends of us, Leslie and De’Andrea (see picture below) recently gave us the honor of getting married in our home.

Tuesday night, we ended up watching AGENDA together and I asked them to give a brief summary of their reaction to the movie:

“As I watched the documentary Agenda by Curtis Bowers, I felt shocked and betrayed.  I could not believe that America’s own leaders have been trying to push us to socialism.  The documentary says the goal of socialism is communism because communism sets the stage for complete government control.  I was shocked because I knew from classes in high school and in college, that communism paved the way for people such as Adolph Hitler to come to power.  This push to communism has been going on for a long time and I have to say I have been pushed that way not knowing it.  Now, that I have new and correct information, I can do my part to change the current in America and bring us back to capitalism.  I hope that everyone opens their eyes and begins to take their education into their own hands because the people that want to destroy America are already taking our education into their own hands.

Watching Agenda by Curtis Bowers has been an eye opening experience. I have had collegiate level courses where I was taught the distinctions between socialism and communism and the grayness in between. We dove deep into the pitfalls of both. I was also taught that socialism and communism was dead and/or dying. With my level of understanding of socialist and communist philosophy, I felt duped. As I watched the documentary I was amazed to see how I, along with the rest of the world, have been corralled towards socialism (ultimately communism) for decades. I say open your eyes, do your homework, and think for yourself.

Interesting how De’Andrea states she felt “betrayed”.  Somehow, I can relate to her experience.  That is exactly how I felt after I had been told for 32 years of my life to “Go to school, get good grades, get a good job, and work hard!!” and spend 9 years of my life to get 3 Master’s Degrees.  Then I met Orrin Woodward, Chris Brady, and what we now know as the “LIFE Community“, who all never force me to believe any specific opinion but always educate based on biblical truth.  They have showed me a better way for the last 13 years.  Coincidentally, Orrin just wrote a great article on Ancient Greece and the parallels to modern day America that relates to the issue at hand.  To view article, please click here.

Curtis Bowers considers Communism the greatest threat to America today because it is attacking America from the within, not from the outside.  We are getting very close to losing this war and the outcome of the election is going to have a major impact on how fast the communistic agenda will continue to be implemented.  I am not a Romney supporter, my goal is to bring America back to the principles that it was founded on.  After seeing the movie, AGENDA, I have to say that, while Romney in office would most likely not reverse the current of sinking deeper into a communistic society, I am convinced that another 4 years of Barack Obama would for sure speed up the process.

What can you do?

1. Watch the 5min. movie trailer, then get the movie (no, I am not making any money of you buying the movie…)

2. If it makes sense and you have a wake-up call, give it to someone else.  Buy more copies, perhaps get with 10 others and get 100 to pass out because when you buy 100 they are $7.95 ea.

3. Get your own copy of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution and more importantly, READ THEM regularly!!!
